Your FaithGPT Game Profile Now Looks Like You
TL;DR: Players can edit their public game identity and build an avatar from 24 ageless male and female base faces, hair styles and colors, and layered props that stay aligned across the games experience.
Scores are more fun when the name beside them is yours. Until now, the games experience did not give players enough control over that identity. We fixed it.
FaithGPT game profiles now separate your account name from the identity other players see. You can edit a display name, choose an in-game nickname, and set a public handle. Each field has a different job, so you do not have to expose an account detail just to make a leaderboard recognizable.
A proper avatar builder
The avatar system starts with two clear grids: twelve male base faces and twelve female base faces. The characters are deliberately ageless. A child, parent, student, pastor, or grandparent should be able to choose a character without the art forcing them into a narrow age group.
From there, you can change hair style and color, then layer on props. The current prop groups include headwear, facewear, neckwear, and badges. That covers simple choices such as a cap or glasses as well as game-earned touches such as medals, shields, flames, books, and trophies.
Every layer uses the same placement system. Hair sits on the head. Glasses sit across the eyes. A pendant lands at the neck. It sounds obvious, but stackable avatar art only works when dozens of separate images share the same anatomy and anchor points.
We built desktop and mobile sprite atlases so the browser does not need to download every individual asset before showing the editor. The result is a larger catalog with fewer requests.
Your identity follows the game
The avatar and public name appear across the games page, game screens, score results, and leaderboards. Editing the profile updates the same underlying player identity instead of creating a different version of you on every page.
That identity also matters when you share a score. A challenge link can name the player and show the public avatar without revealing private account information.
Streaks and leagues have visible rewards
The visual system now includes streak flames, league shields, crowns, medals, a mastery trophy, and a winner podium. These are not random decorations. They give the score and progression system a consistent language across desktop and mobile.
Weekly boards make a short run matter. All-time boards preserve the long record. Streaks reward consistency inside a game, while league and mastery art gives players a quick way to understand the level of an achievement.
The aim is recognition, not pressure. A profile should make a round feel personal and make a friend's result easy to spot. It should not turn Bible study into a beauty contest or ask players to perform a version of themselves they do not recognize.
