Bible Verses About Strength

Isaiah 40:29-31 - "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Psalm 46:1 - "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."

Psalm 73:26 - "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."

Nehemiah 8:10 - "The joy of the Lord is your strength."

For trust: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6)

A Prayer for Strength: Lord, I come to You feeling weak and weary. Your Word promises that those who hope in You will renew their strength. I place my hope in You. Help me soar when I feel like falling. Be my refuge, my strength, my ever-present help. In Jesus' name, Amen.

A Prayer in Weakness: Father, I confess my weakness to You. I cannot do this on my own. But Your Word says Your power is made perfect in weakness. So I boast in my inability, trusting that Your strength will rest on me. Help me say with Paul, "When I am weak, then I am strong." Amen.
